What Do You Get if you Win!

Winners Selected by our Committee will Receive:

1st Place Essay Winner will receive a $3,000.00 Scholarship

2nd Place Essay Winner will receive a $2,000.00 Scholarship

3rd Place Essay Winner will receive a $1,000.00 Scholarship

All Winners will Receive

VIP Tickets for the Full Conference and Gala ( https://raicescon.org ) for You and Your Family 

Hotel Accommodations to the Marriott Downtown Philadelphia (If Not Local to the Philadelphia Region) (One Room per Winner)

Travel Expenses (airfare & stipend will be evaluated on a case by case basis) 

All finalists will be given the opportunity to receive a scholarship to Google’s Cybersecurity Career Certificate Course

Awardees will also be assigned a Mentor from Raices Cyber to help thru their career selection and beyond. 

Who Can Apply

Hispanic, Latino, Latina, LatinX (or of Hispanic Heritage) Seniors (12th Grade) or Homeschool Students in equivalent 12th Grade timeframe

How to Apply

Create a 1 to 2 Page Essay on the TOPIC: “The Importance of Diversity of Thought in the field of Cybersecurity”

Complete and Submit the Form Prior to Sept 18th, 2023 11:59 PM EST
