This event will explore topics such as:

Strategies for promoting representation and inclusion of Latino professionals in cybersecurity
The importance of mentorship, sponsorship, and professional development in advancing Latino cybersecurity professionals
The role of allies in supporting Latino cybersecurity professionals and promoting diversity and inclusion in the industry
The potential of the Latino cybersecurity community to drive positive change and make a lasting impact in promoting diversity and inclusion
The impact of emerging technologies on the Latino cybersecurity workforce and the opportunities they present for promoting diversity and inclusion

We hope to bring together Latino cybersecurity professionals, industry leaders, policymakers, and diversity and inclusion advocates to celebrate the unique strengths and potential of Latino individuals in cybersecurity. The theme can also serve as a platform for networking and mentorship opportunities for Latino cybersecurity professionals to develop their skills, build relationships, and empower each other to promote diversity and inclusion in the field of Cybersecurity.

In This track our Experts and Panels will address the Challenges and Strategies needed to increase the Hispanic. Latino, Latina & LatinX representation in the field from its 4% current state
Our Students and Future Defenders are guided by the knowledge of our Educators and Career Councilors. It is vital that they understand the varied trades in the field of cybersecurity and how to guide students towards a career. Once there we must instruct Human Resources in corporate and government how to evaluate and attract the talent.
Local Area Students will be invited to participate in the Conference and be introduced to all the areas of study in the field of Cybersecurity.
The Battle of Blue Vs Red, The Technical track of RaicesCon! In this exciting track we will cover technical topics of interest with our own latino flavor.
What Security Conference would be complete without Our Own CTF? Well RaicesCon will have 4 CTF’s (Jeopardy, Haiku Tournament, Red vs Blue and Social Engineering)
